Matter – Real People, Real Talk App Reviews

Nobody is able to see anything I do on the app anymore. No one sees my interactions or anything. Ive been emailing "support" for months and nobody has ever even bothered to respond.

This is the only anonymous app that I have actually enjoyed using. People are open, positive and supportive. Refreshing and witty!

Ive been on Matter for over two years, and I think it fosters the most support and has the least spam/toxicity Ive seen on any internet platform with comments. Although the anonymity makes it more difficult to form solid connections that extend to real life, it also allows for people to post much more serious, difficult, and controversial thoughts than usual. Overall, Matter has a clear objective of providing a community of supporters for those in need, and it delivers on that promise.

The concept of this app is flawless. I love the new design updates & the community of people on the app are amazing. Finally a place you wont be judged and you feel safe. THIS APP IS A MUST GET!!

I used to love this app, I even recommended it to people. Then the updates started rolling out. The clean, straightforward, and user friendly interface was changed. When I opened the app for the first time since the most recent update, I could barely get past the new layout. Using the app now is a nightmare, Im not even sure if it actually works correctly anymore. I tried to sort it out and give it a chance, but I am not a fan of the "new" Matter. The old one was fine and importantly, user friendly. I personally likely will never be using this again. Its no longer the great app it once was.

Was great, until the newest update which is rather annoying. I will probably uninstall.

I love this app! You did it right! Its just like the Zen Jar app- anonymous and addicting! Only youve done it even better with colors, chat rooms, pms and a choice to have an identity or remain anonymous.. Perfect!

Wonderful app...great way to use up some free time and contribute to the world instead of a high score lol.

This app has succeeded in creating a dedicated and empathetic community true to its goal, and it does through consistent positive rewards for supporting others and for those who share with request for support. The UI is quite easy to use, and anonymity is ensured by only enabling communities with large enough numbers to enable that anonymity. Kudos, Matter!

With this app you truly get peoples opinions, without the judgement that you are scared of. This is truly something beautiful.

Everything else anonymous turns into something ugly. Matter, at least up until now, has not done that. Its a place for people to really say whats on their mind and find out if theyre alone or not. Its intensely interesting to watch and more powerful than you know, to participate.

im loving this app and the community it has created thus far. im a little worried if it gets too big, it will be ruined. but, i am hoping for the best and spreading the joy! thank you for this app.

I just wish notifications werent tucked into a sub menu. You have to view your profile to see the notifications link. Two taps. It would be great if it was accessible directly from the main feed. One tap

I love this app! You can talk about anything and everything and the Matter community is so supportive. Wouldnt trade the app for anything in the world. And even though ive had some issues with the push notification, the support team replied quickly. Everybody involved in Matter are absolutely amazing!! Keep up the good work
